Returning to Copenaghen, mdf italia presents Shaping Matter with Ideas, an installation exploring the company’s ability to transform thought into tangible form through materials, technologies and production techniques.

The products on display embody this vision through different approaches to design and craftsmanship. Among the highlights is SK Table by Studio Klass, where a cast glass top enters into dialogue with die-cast aluminium legs, creating a balance between technical precision and visual lightness. Also presented is Equilibrium Console by Guglielmo Poletti, a project defined by the tension between two curved steel sheets, and Clayer by NICHETTO®, a family of coffee tables inspired by ceramic tradition and characterised by textured, hand-glazed surfaces that enhance the expressive quality of the material.

The installation is completed by Neil Leather by Jean Marie Massaud and by Minima and Lofty, presented as part of The Principle of Lightness capsule collection celebrating mdf italia’s 30th anniversary through hand-polished aluminium and steel finishes.

For its first participation in 3daysofdesign as part of Design / Dialogue, the exhibition curated by Ark Journal, Acerbis presents an installation conceived by Meda–Quincoces, the brand’s art direction. Staging a dialogue between contemporary visions and a powerful heritage, the exhibition brings together the work of masters who have shaped the brand’s history - including Claudio Salocchi, Giotto Stoppino, Lodovico Acerbis and Nanda Vigo - alongside a new generation of designers such as Sabine Marcelis, Philippe Malouin and Meda–Quincocesthemselves.

The presentation includes the latest launches unveiled at Salone del Mobile 2026, among them Ebi, a chair defined by the continuity of its curved wooden structure; Parioli, the modular storage system originally designed by Lodovico Acerbis and now reissued as a vertical sideboard; and Menhir Mini, a compact evolution of the iconic table combining cast glass, marble and steel.

These new introductions are presented alongside emblematic pieces including Due Più by Nanda Vigo, Lokum by Sabine Marcelis, Palla by Claudio Salocchi and Le Cupole by Meda–Quincoces, highlighting Acerbis’ ability to connect historical vision with contemporary design research.

For the third edition of Design / Dialogue by Ark Journal, cc-tapis unveils Dedalo, a new rug collection created in collaboration with the Milan-based design duo studioutte.

Rooted in a dialogue between architecture, geometry and textile craftsmanship, Dedalo explores the expressive potential of structure through three distinct weave constructions - Hydra, Cardo and Cnosso. Drawing inspiration from historical architectural motifs and ornamental systems, the collection translates grids, pathways and modular patterns into rhythmic textile compositions where repetition becomes both language and method.

The chromatic palette is built around five tones - brown, ivory, mustard and black - explored through multiple combinations. Handloom techniques, hand-embroidered details and knotted constructions coexist within the collection, highlighting the craftsmanship that defines each piece.

Founded by Guglielmo Giagnotti and Patrizio Gola, studioutte approaches design through a language of essential forms, vernacular references and carefully distilled gestures, resulting in a collection where ornament, structure and materiality converge.

At Other Circle, Petite Friture presents three reissued pieces from the Sandows Collection by French modernist designer René Herbst, alongside a selection of outdoor furniture including Week-End by Studio BrichetZiegler, Eclipse by Garnier&Pingree and Fromme by Tom Chung.

Launched in January 2026 as Petite Friture’s first-ever reissue collection, Sandows Collection marks a new chapter in the brand’s role as a design editor. Originally designed in 1927, René Herbst’s iconic pieces combine chromed tubular steel structures with sheathed elastic tension bands, creating a balance of graphic purity, lightness, innovation and comfort. Developed in close collaboration with the René Herbst archives and his heirs, the collection includes the Chair N° 212, the Armchair and the Daybed N° 114.

In the courtyard, Petite Friture unveils new additions to its outdoor collections, including the Week-End Sofa Lounge, alongside new glossy Black and Ivory finishes for Week-End, Eclipse and Fromme. All upholstered outdoor pieces are developed in partnership with Métaphoresand presented in Murmuration, the outdoor reversible fabric combining technical innovation, refined craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability.

New York-based design platform PIN–UP HOME presents the KASU Collection, a set of four vases designed by Belgian architect and designer Bernard Dubois and produced in partnership with Bitossi, with a special installation at Other Circle from June 9 to 13, 2026.
The vases will be available both at Other Circle and online at pinuphome.com  starting Tuesday, June 9.

Dubois’s design for the KASU Collection brings together the cool rigor of industrial typologiesand the timeless presence of ancient vessels. Drawing on the silhouettes of Belgian châteaux d’eau, or water towers, the four vases transform an industrial archetype into objects of material richness. Handmade by Bitossi’s artisans, each piece pairs graphic clarity with nuanced glazing and tactile depth, resulting in forms that feel both excavated and distilled — like artifacts from an unknown civilization, made newly precise.

The project originates from a simple gesture: the act of unrolling.

Sabine Marcelis freezes that moment of transition in which a rug stops being a mere surface and becomes something else, taking on a sculptural presence. With subtle irony, Roll suspends the rug mid-action, transforming it simultaneously into a rug and a seat, revolving around material contrast: the softness of wool engages in dialogue with the hardness and translucency of resin, a material central to Marcelis’s practice.

With Roll, cc-tapis continues its experimentation in rug-making, extending material research while also questioning the object’s function.

Studio 84, Mexican design retailer founded by Maria Dolores Uribe, returns to Mexico City Art Week with Inner Stage, an exhibition and performance at the Escuela del Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández - an emblematic institution designed by Agustín Hernández Navarro.

The show features new works by UNNO Gallery designers Alana Burns, Lucía Echavarría, and Andrea Vargas Dieppa in The closet scene, alongside cc-tapis rugs by Scarlett Rouge and Sabine Marcelis, plus Studio 84 pieces including 6:AM’s 1/1/1 sculpture series, ULTRAS, [QUADRATO], and [EXIT].

The program concludes with a performance directed by artist Mauricio Ascencio.

This September, Chateau Orlando presents its first collaboration Café Deco in a bar, restaurant and wine shop opened in 2020 by Anna Tobias and the 40 Maltby Street team on Store Street in London's Bloomsbury. The capsule collection features t-shirts, tote bags, limited-edition posters and a handmade ceramic brooch, all inspired by the restaurant’s iconic dishes and illustrated by Luke Edward Hall.

The collection will be available online and at Café Deco, which will also host a special trunk show on 16–17 September, showcasing archive pieces alongside the new ones from the collaboration.

As part of the London Design Festival, MDF Italia continues its Array stories series with a new chapter in the UK capital. The talk will explore the design vision behind the development of Array, offering exclusive insight into its creative process and applications.

Prada Frames, the multidisciplinary symposium, exploring the interaction between design and the environment curated by FormaFantasma returned to Milan for Design Week 2025.

This fourth edition was titled: In Transit explored infrastructure as a complex system that facilitates, limits, and shapes movement, of people, goods, data, or power.

Discussions took place aboard the Arlecchino train—originally designed by Gio Ponti and Giulio Minoletti in the 1950s and recently restored by Fondazione FS Italiane—as well as in the Padiglione Reale, the historic waiting area once reserved for Italian royalty and heads of state at Milan’s Central Station.

MIU MIU returned for the second year with Miu Miu Literary Club. This year’s edition, titled “A Woman’s Education,” explores the themes of girlhood, love, and sex education through the works of Simone de Beauvoir and Fumiko Enchi.

The two-day event features conversations and live performances, bringing together interdisciplinary female talent.

During this Milano Design Week, Dedar presented:  Weaving Anni Albers, in collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, for Milano Design Week 2025 presented on the sixteenth floor of Torre Velasca.

Dedar payed tribute to Anni Albers’ modernist vision with its new textile collection, Weaving Anni Albers. Featuring four fabrics designed by Albers and reissued by Dedar. The collection celebrates her lasting influence while seamlessly blending heritage with innovation.

Michael Anastassiades presented his new collection of modular lights for his eponymous brand, exhibited at the Fondazione Jacqueline Vodoz e Bruno Danese during Milano Design Week 2025.

The collection unveiled a new series of modular lights, along with a portable lamp created in collaboration with Alessi.

Marimekko launched a bedroom-themed capsule curated by Laila Gohar showcased in a playful installation featuring a grand-sized bed at the foyer of Teatro Litta.

Celebrating both comfort and joy, the installation transforms the bedroom into a vibrant space where design meets everyday life.

Capsule Plaza returned for its third edition, titled “Expanded Living”. The exhibition explored the concept of design as a total experience, pushing the boundaries of domesticity and reshaping lifestyles through hybrid habitats.

Capsule Plaza 2025 was co-curated by Alessio Ascari alongside Paul Cornet, and took place at Spazio Maiocchi. Additionally it expanded to two satellite venues in the Porta Venezia area: a former garage at Via Maiocchi 23 and a high-end retail space at Piazza Risorgimento 8.

Nordiska Galleriet (NO GA) presented is new furniture collection, NO GA Projects, featuring pieces by Willo Perron, NM3 and Paul T. Frankl at Capsule Plaza during Milano Design Week 2025.

NO GA Projects combines Nordiska Galleriet’s century-long heritage with a forward-thinking approach to design curation and production. The collection brings together designers, architects, and multidisciplinary creatives to reimagine the future of living.

Yves Salomon Editions, the new design project by Yves Salomon launched its new collection designed by Pierre Marie.

The collection features unique intarsia shearling objects and limited-edition soft furnishings, all crafted in the brand’s Paris ateliers. The ensemble includes seats, blankets, stools, cushions, and a lamp, each reflecting Pierre Marie’s singular ornamental vision, brought to life through meticulous craftsmanship.

During Milan Design Week 2025, cc-tapis presented WAYS OF SEEING, a collective exhibition curated by Giga Design Studio.

Featuring 11 visionary designers and artists, the presentation asks the question: ‘’Is Technology an extension of craftsmanship?’’, showcasing its intersection with artisanal processes, shedding light on what often goes unnoticed in our visually saturated world.

NM3 presented Material Conversations with Nick Ross, a dialogue on materials and their many variations.

Nick Ross showcased a series of chairs crafted in different types of wood, while NM3 presented the NM25 console in nine distinct finishes. The collaboration is grounded in repetition and material contrast, where both practices engage with texture, structure, and surface tension.

ABI, is a new collectible design brand based between Cairo and Milan, merging Egypt’s rich tradition of stone craftsmanship with the legacy of Italian design, creating marble and granite objects inspired by functional modernism.

Led by the creative direction of NM3, ABI works exclusively with locally sourced Egyptian stone—such as raw-finish granite—to craft durable, timeless pieces.

The brand made its debut at BKV Fine Art, presenting works by Nick Ross, Carsten in der Elst, Klemens Schillinger, and NM3.

During Milan Design Week, Laboratorio Paravicini and Mary Lennox presented Jardin À L’Italienne, an installation where nature becomes architecture in a dreamlike setting. As plates are placed on the table, it turns into a ceramic garden. The courtyard is transformed into an immersive artwork with walls of greenery and realistic shapes.

Gallotti&Radice presented Resonance, a project by Studiopepe, at their showroom during Milan Design Week.

For the exhibition, Studiopepe created a new visual and sensory narrative within the showroom they had designed the previous year, emphasising a refined interplay of materials.

Resonance explored design’s ability to evoke emotions, memories, and responses beyond function, turning each piece into a distinct experience.

cc-tapis presented HYPERCODE by Roberto Sironi at their headquarters, opening the space to the public for the first time during Milan Design Week.

HYPERCODE was both a site-specific installation and a new collection, with each piece telling stories through symbols and languages that went beyond immediate understanding. Sironi’s rugs combined ancient symbols, contemporary graffiti, and mysterious inscriptions, creating a visual language that connected history and modernity.

MDF Italia launched its 2025 collections during Milan Design Week, featuring designs by Jean-Marie Massaud, Atelier Lavit, Neuland Industriedesign, Xavier Lust, and Yabu Pushelberg.

Alongside a new sofa system by Jean-Marie Massaud, the brand refreshed some of its most iconic pieces—including the Neil Lounge and Rock Tables—with updated finishes and details.

During Milan Design Week, Acerbis presented new products by Philippe Malouin, Claudio Salocchi, Francesco Meda, David Lopez Quincoces, and a new version of the Lokum Side Table by Sabine Marcelis, along with new artworks by Olimpia Zagnoli.

Acerbis introduced additions to its contemporary seating collection, including Malouin’s upholstered designs, a re-edition of Claudio Salocchi’s Palla easy chair, the Le Cupole table by Meda and Lopez Quincoces, and the updated Lokum side tables by Marcelis—a standout from Salone 2024.

The collection featured a curated selection of unique pieces inspired by timeless objects such as coins, stamps, and pebbles. Each item reflected craftsmanship and history, blending elements of the past with contemporary design. The collection combined functional furniture with meaningful artefacts, creating a link between memory and creativity.

Kerakoll Design presented LOOP. Chromatic Gestures, an installation by Isabel & Helen Studio, at their showroom during Milan Design Week 2025.

The installation offered a dynamic experience, showcasing the Kerakoll color palette through experimentation and craftsmanship, transforming the Brera showroom into a creative atelier.

MATTER and SHAPE, the business-oriented design salon in the heart of Paris, returned for its second edition.

Led by Matthieu Pinet under the creative direction of Dan Thawley, the salon took place from March 7–10, 2025, in the Jardin des Tuileries, within a space designed by Willo Perron. The venue featured curated exhibitions, shared areas, a café, a restaurant, and the MATTER and SHAPE (shop).

The Salon counted amongst its partners: Byredo, Debeaulieu, Design Parade Hyères, Dreamin’ Man, Jil Sander, Leboncoin, Moët Hennessy, Places, Sacai, Shasha Movies, WE ARE ONA, and Zara Home.

cc-tapis presented Tessera, the new collection by Yabu Pushelberg at the cc-tapis showroom in Milan.

Inspired by Roman and Byzantine mosaics, the collection translates intricate patterns into a refined textile language. Featuring three designs: Tessera Overlay, Tessera Offset, and Tessera Outcropped—each exploring texture and composition in a contemporary way.

Bocci presented the first in a four-part series titled The Scent of Glass, a new program set to activate their Milan Apartment over the coming months.

The concept explores sensory perception through a multi-layered experience that invites visitors into a world of craft, creativity, and experimentation.

Each gathering at the Bocci Milan Apartment brings together artists, designers, creatives, and culinary visionaries, transforming the space into a hub for exchange.

The first event in the series featured an edible installation by Forniture Pallotta, an artistic project that reinterprets food as a fleeting, sensory-driven art form.

Olfactory Signals made its debut with the first edition of its olfactory salon, exploring fragrance as both an artistic medium and a sensory experience. Conceived by System Preferences in partnership with 10 Corso Como, the event was part of the Fuori Esxence calendar.

Through a series of installations, interactions, and collaborations with artists and designers—including Illya Goldman Gubin and Sissel Tolaas—Olfactory Signals 01 offered an immersive experience that examined the deep connection between smell, memory, and emotion.

Participating fragrance brands included: Unifrom, Aeir, Henry Timi, Arpa Studios, Notes de Bas de Page, Raer, Odeon A, D.S. & Durga, Born to Stand Out, Objects Are By, and Seedarte.

The space also featured design objects by NM3 and Red Duo.

The site-specific exhibition at Casa-Estudio Max Cetto opened on February 4, featuring works by Unno Gallery, cc-tapis, and Flos, presented by Studio 84.

Unno Gallery presented, for the first time, pieces by Moretti Martin and ōmbia Studio, amongsts others.

cc-tapis unveiled a new collection by Eny Lee Parker and also showcased the Raag Collection by Doshi Levien. Meanwhile, Flos, for the first time outside of Italy, exhibited a selection from its classic collections.

The exhibition took place within Casa-Estudio Max Cetto, an iconic example of modern Mexican architecture.

Pierre Marie’s Parisian studio was featured on the cover of the March issue of The World of Interiors. This marked the debut feature of his studio, exclusively showcased in the magazine’s March edition.

To mark the occasion, a private reception was held inside the studio, bringing together friends and collaborators. The event offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his world of artistry and storytelling, highlighting the personal and professional connections that shape his work.

Tacchini continus its role as the furniture partner for Il Nostro Tempo, CinéFondation Cartier, presented by Triennale Milano and Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain. A selection of Tacchini’s iconic pieces, including Grand Sesann, Orsola, Babela, and Lina, were integrated into the exhibition scenography. The exhibition, which runs from December 12, 2024, to March 16, 2025, explores the cinematic works of 12 artists and directors from around the world, reflecting on themes of modern life through film. It is accompanied by a series of screenings and discussions co-curated by Cartier pour l’art contemporain and Fondazione Piccolo America Cinema Troisi.

Flos Hosting arrived in New York with the US launch of Céramique by Ronan Bouroullec, celebrated through three events at the new Flos showroom in NoMad. The events included an intimate press breakfast with a conversation between Felix Burrichter and Ronan Bouroullec, a dinner with New York's art and design community, and a book signing for Ronan’s new book, Day After Day, published by Phaidon.

Black Folks in Design: Spotlight III, presented by VERSO, returned for its third edition at Salon Art + Design in New York. Curated by Little Wing Lee, the exhibition celebrated the talent and creativity of the Black design community. Featured works included pieces by Nifemi Marcus-Bello, Studio Ker, Jonas Damon, Asmite, Shoshanna Weinberger, Swallow and Tea, and Studio & Projects. The showcase highlighted a range of mediums, from floral installations to hand-crafted furniture, rugs, and paintings, emphasizing the diverse excellence of Black designers.

On November 7th, 2024, Flos Hosting made its Tokyo debut at the brand's new showroom, featuring a design conversation with Michael Anastassiades and Flos CCO Barbara Corti. The event celebrated the 10th anniversary of Anastassiades' iconic IC Light with a special edition and marked the opening of the Tokyo location. It centered on the concept of timeless design, offering a platform to share stories of creativity, design, and architecture across Flos' global showrooms.

cc-tapis launched its first international shop-in-shop on November 5, 2024, housed within the Iwan Maktabi flagship in Dubai. This milestone marks a new chapter in their seven-year partnership. The dedicated space celebrates the designs of India Mahdavi, showcasing her Criss Cross collection, which is known for its elegant interplay of lines and colors.

The shop-in-shop is part of the newly unveiled Iwan Maktabi flagship, a 550-square-meter gallery in a reimagined Jumeirah Beach Road villa.

Forever Is Now .04 returned for its fourth edition in October 2024, with exhibitions in Cairo and, for the first time, Alexandria. Held under UNESCO's patronage, the exhibition ran from October 24 to November 16, 2024.

At the Pyramids of Giza, the exhibition explored art as a bridge between history and modernity, featuring 12 international artists. Parallel to this, Tale of Two Cities debuted at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, focusing on the cultural exchange between Alexandria and Athens.

During Paris Art Week, Scarlett Rouge’s rug collection A Goodnight Kiss, created in collaboration with cc-tapis, was presented at the historic Palais Bourbon. The Haussmannian apartment provided the backdrop for the four hand-knotted rugs—Ogham, A Good Night Kiss, Neferatem, Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust. Inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology and personal introspection, each piece embodied themes of life, death, and rebirth, reflecting Scarlett Rouge’s journey of healing and self-discovery.

COIMA celebrated its 50th anniversary with the event Inspiring Cities, held at the Olympic Village for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan’s former Porta Romana rail yard. This location is part of an urban regeneration project managed by the Porta Romana Fund.

Inspiring Cities, featured a discussion on the future of cities. The event also marked the first time the Olympic Village was open to the public, offering a closer look at this significant redevelopment project.

MATTER and SHAPE will return in 2025 with its transversal approach to design, showcasing new perspectives from established names to emerging talents across industrial and object design, interior design, fashion, and decorative arts. The business-focused design salon, led by Matthieu Pinet under the creative direction of Dan Thawley, will take place from March 7–10, 2025, in the Jardin des Tuileries within a space designed by Willo Perron. The salon will feature exhibitions, communal areas, a restaurant, a café, and the MATTER and SHAPE shop. As well as inviting exhibitors great and small to present exceptional projects and products in an elevated setting, celebrating the culture of global design today.

cc-tapis presented Massimo Giorgetti for the Franco Albini Foundation, a new rug collection celebrating the 60th anniversary of Milan's M1 subway line, focusing on Franco Albini's iconic red tubular handrail design, which inspired Giorgetti's MSGM FW24 collection.

The pieces showcased included hand-knotted artworks complemented by a giant robotufted piece made in cc-tapis' Milanese prototyping center.

The collection was unveiled October 8th, 2024 at Ordet Gallery with a didactic exhibition dedicated to the city of Milan and the works of Franco Albini.

NM3 and Alexander May unveiled their collaborative design piece, the NMAM_CORE daybed, at the NM3 showroom in Milan during Fashion Week. This innovative daybed combines industrial steel aesthetics with refined upholstery and is available in brushed or polished stainless steel finishes. The event also showcased other curated NM3 works and previewed the collection ahead of its U.S. debut at Art Basel Miami.

cc-tapis Project unveiled a custom rug designed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac at Sketch London as part of the Dreamscape installation.

The 30-square-meter rug, welcomed guests with the designer’s signature color palette of blue, yellow, and red as they enter the building.

Dreamscape spanned three distinct spaces within Sketch, drawing inspiration from surrealist design while honoring the heritage of No. 9 Conduit Street. The exhibition ran from October 12th to November 10th, 2024.

Rude Arts Tour, is the collaborative effort between cc-tapis and Tacchini, who together showcased their collections designed by Faye Toogood, presented earlier this year at Rude Arts Club during Milano Design Week. The event debuted at Silvera Saint-Germain, marking its first international presentation, before traveling to London for London Design Week.

cc-tapis presented the Criss Cross collection, designed by India Mahdavi and launched during Milano Design Week, hosted at her PROJECT ROOM studio with a special setup curated by the designer.

Anna and Maria Ritsch, known for their collaborative practice in photography and audiovisual media, presented Together Apart at Villa Clea. Exploring the interplay of physical, spatial, and emotional dimensions through their work. Based between New York and Vienna, Allina invited them to interpret and reimagine the spaces of the house

During this year’s Art Basel, Pierre Marie crafted a decorative ensemble for their pop-up restaurant in Basel for We Are Ona.

Pierre Marie’s designs for the occasion featured the basilisk, one of Basel’s emblems, as the central motif. The decor included specially designed textiles, lighting, and crockery, with limited edition porcelain plates made in Limoges by Raynaud and a special edition of block-printed napkins made in Jaipur, creating an immersive experience for guests.

Tacchini’s 2024 collection, launched during Milano Design Week 2024, featuring Cosmic by Faye Toogood, and re-editions by design masters where showcased at the P:S studio. The event provided journalists with an intimate setting to explore the new pieces up close and engage directly with Giusi Tacchini, CEO and Creative Director of the brand. It was an opportunity to immerse themselves in Tacchini's vision of design and craftsmanship.

Swiss artist based in Milan Enea Toldo, presented Torbido at Villa Clea in Milan. The showcase featured paintings on raw clay, sand and straw plastered on jute canvas or board. His work is focused on the transformation of natural elements like earth, water, and fire, reflect material transitions and environmental changes, such as rising sea levels and extinction, with the incorporation of natural organisms in this work.

On 14th of May 2024 at their Showroom in Copenhagen, Flos hosted a conversation on timelessness with Michael Anastassiades during 3daysofdesign. An intimate morning to reflect on design and illumination, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the dreamlike IC Light, the first Michael Anastassiades’ design for Flos, this year with a Special Edition. The design talk was followed by a picnic brunch on the grass. Flos Hosting is a new series of warm evenings to host talents and share stories of design, architecture and creativity in Flos’ showrooms around the world.

Hosted at the MAC – Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone, The 9th edition of Lissone Design Award celebrates the ability of design to transform and improve urban life. This year, the curator Matteo Ghidoni invited eight designers to present site-specific projects that could find a place in the city's public space.The second floor of the MAC hosts the preparatory phase of the projects, while the artists' installations are presented in the public space adjacent to the Museum and the train station. Renowned European designers such as BB (Fabrizio Ballabio and Alessandro Bava), KOSMOS, LCLA Office (Charlotte Hansson and Luis Callejas), Louis De Belle, Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge, NM3, Nuno Melo Sousa and Jean-Benoît Vétillard transformed Lissone into a laboratory of experimentation and dialogue.Inspired by a project by Ugo La Pietra, this year's theme explores how design can influence urban perception and the cultural progress of the community.From the 15th of June till the 6th of October 2024

On 30th of May 2024 - Zara Home opened its Milan flagship store at 12 Corso Matteotti, in the historical Palazzo Ferrania, a 1942 building designed by Gio Ponti. The store consists of very different spaces on two floors, distributed according to the rooms of the home. The main entrance welcomes customers into the living area. On the ground floor are the dining room and the kitchen, with a selection from the Editions capsule collection. The original Palazzo staircase leads to the first floor reserved for the bedroom and bathroom. Inside the shop there is also a space dedicated to kids, with a special area for babies with decorative ideas, textiles and furniture, as well as a play room. The aesthetics are enhanced by natural finishes, such as the pastel and lime coatings by Morón.

On 29th of May 2024, Fondazione Officine Saffi opened the doors of its new headquarters in Milan, located in Via Niccolini 35a. The new headquarters’ architecture comprises a series of spaces that host the gallery’s exhibition programme, a workshop for educational activities and ceramics courses, an apartment to host artists in residence, and the Officine Saffi Lab production workshop. Until July 31st, Fondazione Officine Saffi hosts "(un)Known Territories" an exhibition featuring the finalists of the fifth edition of the biennial Officine Saffi Award, dedicated to contemporary ceramics.The works by 32 finalist artists are showcased in the gallery space, retaining original features like a glass and iron ceiling from the 19th Century. The winner of the Main Prize is Javier Bravo de Rueda whose work “Animita” thus becomes part of the Foundation’s collection.

VERSO introduced Arflex's first shop-in-shop flagship in the United States. Situated in the neighborhood of Tribeca, this landmark occasion celebrated the fusion of Italian heritage and cutting-edge innovation. Guests encountered masterpieces crafted by legends like Mario Marenco and Cini Boeri, alongside creations from contemporary visionaries Neri & Hu and Claesson Koivisto Rune. In addition, VERSO invited visitors to explore Gregory Beson's mesmerizing Dark Beach capsule collection. Two timeless marvels of the Italian electronics pioneer brand Brionvega can be admired inside the space: the Radiofonografo (1965) by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and the  Totem (1971), born from the creative genius of Mario Bellini.

For its first foray into Brooklyn, VERSO took over 96 King, a brand new residential building in the heart of Red Hook. VERSO extended invitations to 23 brands and designers to occupy the space, turning 96 King a nexus of inspiration and collaboration. Those invited to take part in the project were: Alex Proba, Bowen Liu, Clara Jorisch, Dokter and Misses, Evam, Gestu, Hannah Bigeleisen, Humberto da Mata, John Wells, Jude Di Leo, Kiki Goti, Laine + Alliage, Lauren S. Thompson, Marcus de Paula, Martina Guandalini, Objects of Common Interest, Office of Tangible Space, Pablo Bolumar, Palma, Steven Bukowski, Very Simple Kitchen, Zaven, Zoe Mowat.

In collaboration with Chelsea-based L'Space Gallery, VERSO presented two exhibitions at their space, located in the iconic Metal Shutter House, designed by Priztker Prize winner Japanese architect Shigeru Ban.

The first one is BIOTOPE, by Japan-born, Copenhagen-based artist Yukari Hotta.  Crafted from hand - shaped clay and natural dyes, Hotta's pieces embody the concept of "生き物" (Ikimono) - living things in Japanese culture. Additionally, in collaboration with São Paulo-based Diletante42 Gallery, VERSO presents "Icons of Brazilian Design: Mid-Century Furniture Masters", an exhibition showcasing seminal works from the golden era of Brazilian Modernismo. This exhibition brings to light the transformative influences that defined modern Brazilian aesthetics and functionality during a pivotal time in the country’s history. Featured in the exhibition are iconic pieces from masters such as Joaquim Tenreiro, Sergio Rodrigues, Lina Bo Bardi, José Zanine Caldas, Jorge Zalszupin, Martin Eisler, and Carlo Hauner.

On 2 March, the second Flos Hosting event took place at the Flos Professional Showroom in Paris. Flos designers Erwan Bouroullec and Philippe Malouin and Vestoj editor-in-chief Anja Aronowsky Cronberg took part in a design discussion moderated by PIN-UP creator Felix Burrichter. The discussion was followed by an informal drinks reception.

Curated by Dan Thawley, India Mahdavi presented the design and art exhibition Foreign Flowers, in the Project Room #12 gallery at MATTER and SHAPE, exploring the unexpected relationships of flowers and plants with the disciplines of furniture making, fine art, craft and collectible design.
The exhibition featured work by Grace Atkinson, Thomas Barger, Shannon Clegg, Julian Farade, Elise Gettliffe, Lukas Heerich, Josef Hoffmann, Jochen Holz, Katerina Jebb, Ben Mazey, Kate MccGwire, Suzannah Pettigrew, RAWORKSHOP, Lilla Tabasso, Orfeo Taguiri, Conie Vallese, Nico Vascellari, Flaminia Veronesi, Aurece Vettier.
Project Room was founded by India Mahdavi in 2020 as a cultural exhibition space and a portal to new expressions of design from around the world.

MATTER and SHAPE, a new design salon in Paris, debuted in 2024 during Paris Fashion Week at the Jardin des Tuileries. Design companies, fashion houses, material innovators and galleries were invited to showcase exceptional projects and products across a range of design disciplines. The initiative was spearheaded by Matthieu Pinet and Creative Director Dan Thawley, supported by WSN.
The salon counted amongst its partners: Apartamento Magazine, Zara Home, Dreamin' Man Paris, Jil Sander, Older Studio, Perfumer H London, Perron-Roettinger, Rare Books Paris, We Are Ona, PIN-UP Magazine, Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, Space Caviar.

Paris based artist Jan Melka presented Re-Action at Villa Clea in Milan, an emotional experience from the interaction between body and space. Jan’s work mainly explores a kind of transmutation of bodies. It causes confusion between the real and the imaginary and assigns them another limit in space. In this occasion, reflecting her experience with the spatiality and materiality of the house on to the canvas and mirroring her perception of this experience, the artist made a series of live large paintings during her residency.

Hacer, para no ser by the Mexican artist C. S. Nuñez provided a reflection about humanity, through the creation of a space where the human condition is questioned. The title of the exhibition was a reference to the act of doing, in order to avoid being, to avoid the feeling of existence. Hacer, para no ser presented a visual installation of six pieces including sculptures and paintings made by biomaterials, fused glass, among others. Taking the spectator on a journey through different themes and encouraging them to go on their own imaginary voyage, eventually leading them to the main piece of the show, the monkey temple, the exhibition let the viewers’ imagination run wild.

On the occasion of the contemporary art fair ZONAMACO MÉXICO 2024, Studio 84 created an installation integrating cc-tapis and Nilufar’s Open Edition in the private home of Mexican Architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez (1919 - 2013). cc-tapis participated with 3 collections of hand-knotted rugs: the never-seen before Naïf collection by Lebanese designers david/nicolas, exhibited alongside their Plasterworks collection (2019). The works of david/nicolas are paired with the Guadalupe collection (2023) by English designer Bethan Laura Wood, who was inspired by the stained- glass windows of the New Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, designed by Pedro Ramírez Vázquez himself.

UNNO gallery participated for the third time in the Mexico City Art Week, from 7 to 11 February 2024. This time, Habitación 116 presented Reverberaciones. The exhibition is rooted in a fundamental principle that guided Clara Porset (1895-1981) throughout her professional journey: the impact of the plastic heritage of ancient Mexican cultures and its integration into modern design. Porset coined the term reverberations to underscore the significance of these remnants from the past. As part of this exhibition, Habitación 116 presents Criollo, a new collection comprising five versatile pieces with dual functions tailored for small spaces.

Pierre Marie unveiled Lemuriforme, the sixth exhibition at La Galerie de Pierre Marie in Paris. Six years after the inaugural show that presented Ras El Hanout in 2018, a tapestry woven over nine months depicting a collection of spices, Lemuriforme circles back to the theme. A new show that once again proves Pierre Marie’s mastery of ornaments and colors by confirming his creative vein irrigated by the power of nature transposed in all types of materials, from the mosmodest to the most noble.

On November 30th took place the first appointment of “Flos Hosting” at the Flos Professional Space in Milan, with a conversation between Fosbury, the curators of the Italian Pavilion at the Biennale Architettura 2023, and Barbara Corti, CCO of Flos, who was a technical sponsor of the Padiglione Italia this year. “Flos Hosting” is a new format of informal encounters dedicated to architects, designers, creatives and students, taking place in Flos spaces around the world.

On Tuesday 5th December 2023 Verso made its debut in Miami, presenting Five Pieces - Collection No.1 by São Paulo based studio during the inaugural edition of Alcova Miami. The studio’s inaugural furniture collection is composed of 5 pieces establishing a dialogue between art, design, hand-crafts and the juxtaposition of multiple styles and epochs, uniting the methodology of industrial design with the experimentation and process-based practice of an artists’ studio. The collection displayed at Gold Dust Motel, one of the architectural icons of Miami’s modernist period.

On Tuesday 28th November 2023 we had the pleasure of presenting the second installment of Hermès “L’ora Arancio. Ogni tanto, al tramonto, un evento a Milano da Hermès”, which invited to the discovery of a new chapter of Hermès Beauty. “Le Regard”, the collection designed by Pierre Hardy under the creative direction of Gregoris Pypylis was unveiled during the event. The night also showcased an installation by Tommaso Spazzini Villa.

For Écorces, the second exhibition opening at Villa Clea on Wednesday 29th October 2023, the artist Sulian Rios worked on a choreography and the production of a video piece presented at the opening, alongside a showcase of photographs and sculptures. “Écorces are not meant as layers to be removed to rediscover our true selves, but as protective filters from the world of images, through which we can communicate what lies deeper within. The joy and gentle self-irony of forms and movements help us perceive our relationship with our own identity in a free, youthful, and light-hearted way.”

Jim C. Nedd ranks among the most captivating photographers of his generation. Remembering Songs, Nedd’s debut monograph, culminates six years photographing his native Colombia in over 300 full-color reproductions, featuring an introduction by Beatriz E. Balanta and an interview with the artist by Octavia Bürgel. A delicate balance of staged and documentary photography, Nedd’s distinct visual language is spun from local mythologies, personal nostalgia, and speculative fiction.

Fornace Brioni is an Italian family-run company that produces cotto by hand from 1920, now at its fourth generation with Alessio and Alberto Brioni, has always been a leader in the restoration of traditional floors. Appointed as the brand’s artistic director in 2016, Cristina Celestino began with a reinterpretation of the history of the product to investigate its aesthetic potential, bringing out its vivid, unique identity.

The 26^th of October opened in Cairo Forever Is Now III, the contemporary art exhibition curated by Art D’Égypte. This year the show exhibits under the Pyramids of Giza its most ambitious exhibition to date, with a group of 13 international and local artists such as Sabine Marcelis, Pilar Zeta, Arne Quinze, Arthur Lescher, Azza Al Qubaisi, Carole Feuerman, Dionysios Ka, JR, Mohamed Banawy, Rashid K Alkhalifa, Rashed Alshashai, Sam Shendi, Stephan Breuer. The show is on view until November 18th, 2023, from 9 am to 4 pm.

The cc-tapis and Fornasetti exhibition titled (META)FISICA, curated by
Dan Thawley with exhibition design by Pablo Molezún, reinterprets a selection of archival motifs, with each rug evoking a theatrical suspension between fiction and function.
The trompe l’oeil illustrations of Fornasetti become rich textural conversations in the hands of cc-tapis artisans, who employed a broad variety of techniques and materials.

Dedar launches the second chapter of
Versi Liberi, introducing new colorways and textures alongside three new designs exploring different expressive directions.
The 70 × 90 cm pieces reinterpret the tradition of placed motifs that flourished between the 17th and 19th centuries, combining their refinement and expressive vigour with contemporary taste. These new varieties join the VLL panels, a larger scale version imagined for curtains, revisiting the tradition of valanced textiles in a contemporary ready-made form.

Marimekko takes over Hosteria Grand Hotel presenting Osteria Fiori di Marimekko: a multisensory activation that blends design, gastronomy, and culture into a joyful exploration of the Art of Flowers.
The activation highlights one of Marimekko’s newest floral designs Kukasta Kukkaan by Erja Hirvi in the form of bold textile installations, a shoppable curation of ceramics, and floral-inspired aperitivo with a Finnish flair available all day.

DAFT about DRAFT, the Tokyo-based brand specialising in furniture for domestic and urban spaces, will present a site specific installation at the historic Teatro Gerolamo in the heart of Milan. Conceived by Japanese architect and designer
Taiju Yamashita, the project marks the brand’s fourth participation to Salone and gives tangible form to his creative vision.
The installation will invite visitors to reconsider their gaze and experience design through an unexpected sensory lens, where furniture, space, and atmosphere merge in a single narrative.

Poliform consolidates its presence in Milan with a project at Palazzo Clerici, alongside the opening of its new flagship in
Piazza della Scala.

For the occasion, the palace courtyard will be transformed by a site-specific installation curated by studioutte, while Poliform’s kitchens and new products will be presented on the first floor of the Palazzo, available for private viewings.

Miu Miu introduces Literary Club, 2026 - "Politics of Desire". Now in its fourth iteration, the event is this time designed to explore the subject of sexuality, consent, and desire through the work of two distinctive authors, Nobel prize-winning, French-born Annie Ernaux, and Ghanaian writer and academic, former Minister of Education of Ghana, Ama Ata Aidoo.

On 22–23 April, conversations, lectures and live performances will bring together an interdisciplinary community of women.

On April 24, the club will open to the public as a reading room.

Apartamento presents Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 years, an exhibition by Muller Van Severen, Courtesy of Tim Van Laere Gallery, Antwerp - Rome, taking place at Ordet.
Central to the presentation are fifteen unique, life-size aluminum candle holders.

Each form is an abstract reinterpretation of recurring motifs from the oeuvre: chairs, cabinets, lamps, vases, and sculptural structures.

Through rotation, inversion, or closure, these archetypal forms are reduced to their contours, to silhouettes that abandon their original function and manifest themselves as autonomous signs in space.

The space will also host the Apartamento Bookshop.

Faye Toogood will curate the set-up of the recently opened Casa Tacchini in Brera with MATERIAL ANTHOLOGY, an installation centred on raw materials.

Offcuts, samples and fragments are transformed into site-specific sculptures celebrating the hands-on, human process of design.

Each room highlights a tonal palette drawn from Tacchini’s natural materials, from the blue veins of marble to the soft pink of timber knots.

The showcase will feature Butter, evolving into a structured collection with new modules, end units and complementary pieces. Tacchini will also unveil a new lacquered finish across a broad colour palette, alongside reissues of iconic designs and a new lighting collection.

To mark its return to Milan Design Week, Baccarat will unveil new creations in the heart of the Brera district, within an immersive science fiction experience bringing together, across multiple timelines, the iconic designs and savoir-faire of the Maison, celebrating boldness and creative freedom.

At Salone del Mobile 2026, Acerbis presents an installation that reflects the brand's identity and evolution, transforming the stand into a space where design becomes experience.

The collection unfolds through a dialogue between heritage and contemporary vision, with a new addition to the Remasters collection: the re-edition of Parioli, the iconic 1970s design by
Lodovico Acerbis, reintroduced with a contemporary perspective.

Alolongside this, the installation introduces Ebi chair, a new product developed by art directors
Meda–Quincoces, together with a new colour variant of the Lokum coffee tables by Sabine Marcelis.

mdf italia, known for its vision rooted in simplicity and lightness of form, collaborates with Milan-based Studio Klass to present SK Table.

The collection explores the balance between elegance and technical precision, expressed through a softer, more welcoming presence.

Alongside this collaboration, the company is working on new collections with international studios and designers such as Nichetto ®, Studio Mist-o and Guglielmo Poletti, together with long-standing collaborators who have contributed to shaping the identity of the brand.

Fisher & Paykel presents the exhibition Nature-Ritual at EuroCucina.

With creative direction by Dean Poole, Alt Group, and stand design by Calvi Brambilla and Partners, the New Zealand brand explores the kitchen as a social - rather than purely functional - environment. Conceived as an immersive journey, the installation blends advanced technology with sensory experiences inspired by nature and materiality. Visitors move through a sequence of tactile encounters, discovering the collection atmospherically and affectively.

Tacchini will present a booth conceived by Studio Cameranesi-Pompili and Studio Lys as a contemporary tent, with a lighter, more open architectural landscape.

Inspired by the idea of a nomadic camp, the installation takes the form of a suspended textile structure that defines the space while remaining light and permeable.

The setting will showcase new compositions of the
Le Mura and Butter sofas, alongside other new pieces from the collection.

ABI, the Milan and Cairo-based stone design brand, will launch its second collection at Salone Raritas, the new exhibition and curatorial initiative of Salone del Mobile.

Milano dedicated to special and limited design editions, unique pieces, antiques and high-end creative craftsmanship.

The collection includes pieces designed by NM3, who also lead the overall creative direction, alongside Sofia Albrigo and Heim+Viladrich.

All pieces are crafted using locally sourced materials extracted in Egypt whose natural qualities give each object a unique appearance while ensuring durability and 100% recyclability.
